Now you can extend the life of your stain by applying Deck Top Coat, a clear protective coating that will hold your color, resist fading, resist wear and extend the life of your stain by years. The image on the left shows water over both oil and water-based stains with water beading.
Apply Deck Top Coat to any stain or bare wood. Make sure there are no silicones or silicates in the sealer or stain before application and bare treated wood has aged for at least 90 days outside. Deck Top Coat will perform on both Oil or Water based Stains. If there are silicones in your stain, let age until it stops beading.
Apply an even film thickness with brush, roll, or spray just as you would apply a solid color stain. Cutting in with a clear coat is far easier than colored materials, because it does not need to be so precise.
Deck Top Coat is backed by Brite Coating's satisfaction guarantee. We warranty that when applied properly, Deck Top Coat will perform for years.
With Deck Top Coat your paint system will last years longer than simply applying a stain or even a couple of coats of stain.
Apply Deck Top Coat by brush, roll, or spray. 1 gallon will cover more than 400 square feet per gallon, but we recommend to try and keep the coverage to 400 square feet so that proper film build is achieved. Applying Deck Top Coat will take almost half the time it takes to apply stain.
